Scentsy Consultant – Award Winner
My name is William Surrency and I am Teresa’s husband. I wanted to take a few minutes to post on Teresa’s blog letting her know just how proud I am that she is doing great with her home business. Today I checked the mail and found an envelope from Scentsy addressed to Teresa. I have recently joined Teresa in her business, so I thought it would be fine to take a look at what came in from the Corporate Office. I opened the envelope to find a certificate from Orville and Heidi Thompson as well as the Officers and Board of Directors of Scentsy. She was awarded with a Monthly Sales Award for May. Now, I know what her sales were for May and I was very impressed. I don’t plan to post her sales on the website as she would probably kill me, but I must say that I was very proud of what she was able to accomplish.
I also want to thank all of Teresa’s family and friends who have helped her launch her business with such a successful start. Teresa took the first steps in becoming a Scentsy Consultant here in Jacksonville and after I saw her success, I told her I wanted to become a consultant as well. I later found that we can be partners, but I can’t start up my own business within the same household. Not a problem, we are now partners and I am here to support Teresa in any way I can to help her make this business a success. I a few short weeks, I found that what Teresa had told me about Scentsy products was true. The products sell on their own. All we have to do is get the product in front of people who love to smell nice scents and then the products take over. This past weekend I helped Teresa with two parties. I was very impressed when we broke out the samples and everyone started smelling them. The room became louder as the guest began to talk about the scents. They would find a scent they loved and would have to tell others to smell it. Some were talking about memories that the scents brought to mind. I was very impressed at how the Scentsy products were able to captivate the guests.
At the end of the part I helped Teresa by assisting guests with filling out their orders. I was able to show them how they could bundle their purchases using different Scentsy Systems to save money and get more products. I was honored to sit with the host of the party to let her know about all of the Freebies she would receive as well as the half price items. Now this is the best part of the whole night. I have never seen a party related business that offers such rewards to the host. It was a great feeling to be able to reveal the total freebies that the host would receive.
Again, I want to thank everyone who has helped my beautiful wife with the launch of her business and I want to send a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Teresa for her great start as a Scentsy Consultant.
